12 Scouts and 4 adults will be attending Goshen July 1-8 where the theme is “water safety.” Parents are reminded that Scouts are not permitted to have open toe shoes.
The PLC is to meet at the church at 8 am Saturday and the remainder of the boys at 8:30.
John reported that the three day canoeing trip was a great success, characterized by fine attendance and perfect weather..
Four boys (Michael and Manuel Robles, Scot Hoke and Nick Wood) will be attending the High Adventure camp in the Adirondacks July 30 to August 5.
John is having second thoughts about Philmont in the summer of 2007. He will be sending a separate email.
A board of review for Andrew Kunk’s advancement to Tenderfoot followed. He passed with flying colors. A court of honor ended this last Troop meeting of the year with Andrew Kunk advancing to Tenderfoot and Manuel Robles and Rafael Suarez advancing to Life.
