Scoutmaster’s Report:
. 1) There will be a short Court of Honor at the end of the meeting.
2) Three boys are going to the Merit Badge Day on May 12 at Camp Snyder: Jourdan and Mitchell Wooden and Francis McCarthy.
3) This weekend is the Westpoint Camporee. We will be borrowing a trailer from Troop 666 and John and Steve will both be driving, so we will not incur any vehicle rental fees. Everyone should meet no later than 8:30 a.m. Friday, in order to repack Troop equipment. Boys should all have a bag lunch. Parents should send money to buy equipment, if their son(s) needs anything for souvenirs and for lunch on Sunday. Weather should be good. Parents should expect to pick up the boys around 5:00 or so.
4) The Parent-Son trip was a lot of fun. The cabin slept 54 people, but we only had 25, so there was lots of room for everyone.
5) We are in the process of planning a triple Eagle Court. The date has been tentatively set for May 16.
