Camp is owned by the Claude McDonald Foundation.
Fires are allowed inside the rings.
Two latrines on site (infrequently used – may not be very appealing)
water is available – needs to be turned on inside in winter and shut off and drained when we leave (bring a gal of antifreeze for the toilets) – water also available from the creek.
Directions:
West on 66 to Markham, Va to exit 18
South on Rt.688 for approx. 2 miles
Right on Rt. 728, approx. 2.5 miles (becomes a gravel road) to Big Mac
If scouts are dropped off at “Moss Farm Camp” they will have an approx. 1.3 mile hike-in.
