Meeting called to order at 7:55 pm.
Scoutmaster's Report
 
Hikoree. Highest participation in years. Great weather and hiking.
 
Close-in Campout. Several second-year Webelos were invited.
 
New Assistant Scoutmaster. Mike Kirkpatrick has been inducted.
 
Holiday Party. December 17. Scouts are asked to bring a "hard to unwrap" gift. Creativity encouraged. $8 budget. Bring tools to open. Parents are invited to attend. 
 
Other Activities. Day trip tentatively planned to the John W. Brown training ship in Baltimore for a tour on Saturday, December 20. Inner Harbor too.
 
Future Campouts. Marsh's Farm slated for January 17-18. West Point 2009 is back to the first weekend in May (1-3). Maximum of 25 people allowed to go which may pose a challenge.
 
Next Committee Meeting scheduled for January 7.
 
Inauguration. Signed the troop up at the Council web site to volunteer. No response yet.
 
Surgery. John has a ruptured tendon in his foot. Scheduled for December 15. Will be out for 4-6 weeks at least.
 
Treasurer's Report
 
No report this month.
Other Business
 
Christmas Tree Sale. Scheduled for December 13.3 trees have been preordered. Grower will deliver supply on Friday. Will need scouts to unload the truck.
 
Amy Wooden has sent out a message via listserv and will also put a posting on CraigsList. Art will email a copy of the flyer to the committee for distribution in neighborhoods.
 
Prices will be $5 higher on the lot. Discounts honored for anyone who brings a flyer or copy of the listserv emails.
