Christmas Tree Sale:
 
Margin on trees is 100% because of doubling the price
Last year’s sale: $2450 – less than usual, due to weather
Last year 120 trees altogether were ordered
 
This year 110 will be ordered to not risk a loss like last year (snow)
Sale will occur on December 11th and 12th
Amy will send out a description/ad/flyer to be posted on neighborhood lists
Delivery will be offered for an additional fee
 
 
Pancake Breakfast
Record sale of $4510 net – twice as much as last year
Olivia will be the new kitchen supervisor, following Lisa’s example
Elisabeth suggests having a sign up sheet for parents for next year’s event
Fruit for fruit salad should be left out overnight next year, for proper thawing

District Camporee – Stags won 1st place and Foxes won 2nd place in the competition “The Amazing Race”
 
Upcoming events:
Hikoree – meeting will be 4:00 pm on Friday/ return around noon on Sunday
 
Scouting for Food (Beside food in cans, items like diapers can be collected – email with list will follow) – Bags will be distributed on Wednesday – Collection will be for one week
 
 
Campout on the 20th/21st
 
BoR tomorrow for Jordan Wooden, before his 17th birthday

Are we still discussing service project components? Yes, service project can be built in.
Could a sibling or parent go? No, if siblings are not in troop.
Need dates soon.
Parents might have to accompany a scout who is 14, but 1.class
 
 
Search on Expedia: $2300 for flight/ $2900 including add on trip to Kilimanjaro
 
New survey: identify families that are definitely interested and form committee to plan trip separately from committee meetings
 
People with older boys who are eligible have not responded
 
Altare Dei class for catholic scouts is progressing, with lots of work for scouts
 
Advancement:
No BoR in October – no CoH for tonight
 
Later in November should be a BoR – last week of November, either Monday or Tuesday,
Please respond quickly to Gail’s request for volunteers
 
Data from ancient computer needs to be transferred to new laptop
Data will forwarded to ‘cloud’ Scoutnet
 
November 10th is Marine Corp Birthday – If somebody would like to send a gift, Gail has the contact info and happy to forward gifts which don’t have to be wrapped – contact Gail for more info
